There is a valid reason for the vast difference logo design prices. A $50,000 logo price tag would possibly be part of a complete branding campaign strategy tailor made by branding consultants. The campaign cost alone may go into the millions.

This type of package is more suited to members of the Fortune 500 who can easily afford such a colossal fee. Branding campaigns like this are responsible for the popularity of Nike’s Swoosh logo. Large multinationals like Nike spend millions yearly on branding and rebranding campaigns.

Suffice to say, quite a number of businesses cannot afford the expertise of branding consultants. A more feasible means would be traditional logo designers. The logo design rates from many of these designers are in the vicinity of $1000 to $2000 per logo design. Much of their time is spent researching the company, its industry and its historic. Since all this takes up precious time and time is money, they thus have to charge for it. This sort of service is best for those who prefer to speak in detail to designers and are in no hurry to receive their designs.
